Today, I've just installed the AIO Tweaks version of Android Auto.įor those asking is it worth it, I found the voice control -pressing the talk button on the steering wheel and saying "Navigate to Billingshurst" the bees knees. Initially I tried Smart MZD Player that uses a USB memory stick to facilitate Android Auto and playing videos on the head unit ,should you need it, (when parked of course). So a serial connect to a laptop and a bit of fiddling and I was in and tweaking the system!
I'd installed FW version 59.00.502 before it was known it prevented All-In-One Tweaks working and locked user access. I have finally got around to invalidating my warranty and taking the Head Unit out.
